We held the BASC Open day at the range today. A brilliant event and enjoyed by all with over 90 people having a go. Big thank you to all the coaches showing people the ropes, Alan on the breakfast and the ladies in the club house keeping everyone under control.

Today we held the annual Sporting Manx Championship kindly sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies.
There was a total of 35 shooter. 22 shooters for the competition and 13 club members shooting targets only. After a technical course we had a new name on the trophy.

Today we held the fourth round of the Down the Line summer league followed by the fourth round of the Olympic Skeet summer league. Both were sponsored by Field and Range.

We held the Sporting Grand Prix this weekend as 19 shooters competed on the Saturday which was 50 sportrap and 50 super sporting. Both days were sponsored by Neil Parsons and food by Isabella’s. 4th there was a 3 way tie between Jack Kneen, Nigel Moffatt and Bob Corlett on 81/100 Shoot off was set up to decide 4th Jack took the win.

We had to have another shoot off to decide the over all winner over the two days. This was between Kevin and Marty with both having 172/200. Kevin took the overall win for the 2 days after the shoot off. Thank you to all who took the time to come down set up Thursday/Friday and Saturday afternoon.

Today we held the Manx championship Fitasc kindly sponsored by Sadler agriculture supplies. It was held over 75 target shoot, 3 layouts of 25 clays.
Winner was Nigel Moffatt on 66. Then there had to be a shoot off to decide the 2nd 3rd and 4th place between Martin Kneen, Jake Keeling and Rob Watterson, all on 62. Layout 3 was pulled out of the hat tweaked and over 25 targets. Jake shot 22 to finish 2nd overall 2nd Martin shot 19 to finish 3rd overall 3rd Rob shot 17 to finish 4th overall
