English Sporting Manx Championship

Cracking day for the English Sporting Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers. 33 shooters took on a technical layout with only a few clays separating the top 4.

Junior shooter Joe Faragher claimed the 2026 title just pipping Alan Kinrade with Martin Kneen and Nigel Moffat rounding out the top spots.


Sporting 4+ Manx Petroleum cup

Brilliant turn out for the fourth round of the sporting summer league. Thank you to all the helpers for setting up and making these shoots happen. Liam Kirkpatrick pipped Jake Keeling to take high gun
25 shooters stayed on after lunch to compete for the Manx Petroleum cup with the lead turning on its head with Keeling pipping Kirkpatrick to the win by one target

Single Barrel DTL Manx Championship

Today we held the 4th championship of the season with the Single Barrel Down the Line Manx Championship. Thank you to Sadlers for sponsoring the championships again this year. It was close at the top with the top 3 separated by a target each.

DTL 4 + ABT 2+3. SS2

Today was a trap double header in perfect conditions with the morning seeing 11 shooters take part in the fourth round of the DTL. Mike Walker claimed high gun with a 50/50 147.
The afternoon hosted round two and three of the ABT league along side the second selection shoot for island games. Alan Wade won the selection shoot and round two of the league pipping Jake Keeling with Stan Skinner winning round 3

English Skeet 3

Today we held the third round of the English Skeet summer league sponsored by Penketh Millar. 18 shooters took part with Martin Kneen pipping the win from Racheal Bowen-Matthews.

UT + DT Manx Championships

First Championships of the year as we held the Manx Championships for Universal Trench followed by the Double Trap.

Thank you to Sadlers for there support again this year. Stan Skinner won the Universal Trench with Alan Wade only a few clays behind. Jake Keeling took the honours in the Double Trap with father and son Wade sharing second

Sporting 3+ Small Bore

Double Sporting this weekend as we had the third round of the English Sporting league sponsored by Jason Bulliment Construction. 30 shooters took on 6 stands with Kevin Oates and Nigel Moffatt sharing the win on 45/50.

After Lunch, we had the Small Bore Challenge sponsored by Tony Tongue.
Nigel Moffatt made the double taking high gun. Thank you to everyone who helped over the weekend and Alan in the kitchen as always.

Down the Line 2

More breezy than expected today for the second round of the DTL summer league.
Glynn Hooson-Owen walked away with it today finishing on 50/50 148.

Sportrap 3+ Olympic Skeet 3

Perfect conditions for shooting at blue point today. We had the third round of the Sportrap league sponsored by Gareth Kinrade. We also had the first Olympic Skeet selection shoot incorporated in the third round of the summer league.

Liam Kirkpatrick won the Sportrap on 42 with Giulio Fabrizio taking high in the Olympic Skeet league shoot. Results for the selection shoot are below.

Today we had a busy day as we had the first two Olympic trap summer rounds incorporated in the first island games selection shoot. Jake keeling took high gun in the first shoot with Watterson claiming the second
