15/9/24 All Round Manx Championship

Today we held the All Round Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies. This is shot over 100 targets with a round of 25 from each of the following disciplines: English Skeet, Automatic ball trap (ABT), Down the Line (DTL) and Sporting.

Jake Keeling took the title on a 89. We needed a 3 way shoot off between Alan Kinrade, Jack Kneen and Arran Morrison-Wade who all tied on 82. Alan was first knocked out so we went to sudden death for Jack and Arran with Jack coming out on top to take second. Well shot to all taking part.

This morning we held the Final round of the Down the line summer league sponsored by Field and Range. Thank you Alan for sponsoring the league this summer.

In the Afternoon we held the Final rounds of the Olympic Skeet and Olympic Trap summer leagues.
In the Olympic Skeet, Giulio Fabrizio won on a 41 from Ted Davis and Davey Clague. In the Olympic Trap, Jake Keeling beat Robert Watterson by one target with Jackie Clague taking 3rd.

League winners will be revealed at the end of the summer league when all rounds have been shot.

1/9/24 English Sporting (5) + 3 Shot Auto

Today we held the penultimate round of the English Sporting summer league sponsored by ProScreed. This was followed by the 3 shot auto in the afternoon sponsored by National Windscreen.

BASC Open day

We held the BASC Open day at the range today. A brilliant event and enjoyed by all with over 90 people having a go. Big thank you to all the coaches showing people the ropes, Alan on the breakfast and the ladies in the club house keeping everyone under control.

Giulio Fabrizio won from Ted Davis in the Olympic Skeet with Jake Keeling and Robert Watterson both taking High gun in the Olympic Trap.

11/8/24 Sporting Manx Championship

Today we held the annual Sporting Manx Championship kindly sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies.

There was a total of 35 shooter. 22 shooters for the competition and 13 club members shooting targets only. After a technical course we had a new name on the trophy.

20th+21st of July 2024 Sporting Grand Prix

We held the Sporting Grand Prix this weekend as 19 shooters competed on the Saturday which was 50 sportrap and 50 super sporting. Both days were sponsored by Neil Parsons and food by Isabella’s. Massive thank you to them. Scores as follows for Saturday’s comps. Both scores from each was added to give winning total.
