Olympic Skeet Manx Championship + DTL 4

We held the Olympic Skeet Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies along side the fifth round of the summer league. We also held the fourth round of the Down the Line summer league sponsored by Field and Range.
After the first 50 for the league, Jeff Corkill was leading from Rob Watterson with Ted Davis in 3rd. After the second 50, Jeff shot well to claim the title with Giulio in 2nd and Ted 3rd.

Down the Line Manx Championship + English Skeet (3)

Wind and rain up blue point today as we held the DTL Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies. Shooters took on 4 rounds over 2 layouts to battle out for the title. Well done to Jack Kneen for taking the title.
We also held the third round of the English Skeet summer league sponsored by Penketh Millar with Kevin Airey taking high gun.

Sportrap Manx Championship

Today we held the Sportrap Manx Championship sponsored by Sadler Agricultural Supplies. Rain and wind didn’t help the shooters take on 4 technical layouts to claim the Manx title.
After all the layouts were shot, a new layout was setup as we required a shoot off for the title between Jack Kneen and Liam Kirkpatrick. It was a close one with Liam pipping Jack by two clays to take the title.

Double Trap and Universal Trench Manx Championships

Sunny skies today as we held the Double Trap Manx Championship followed by the Universal Trench Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural supplies. Jake Keeling took home the brace claiming both Manx titles today. We had a shoot off for second in the Double trap between Ted Davis and Alan Wade with Alan pipping Ted with a 21 to Ted’s 20.

ABT (3) + Manx Championship

The first Manx championship of the season was held at blue point today in sunny but chilly conditions. 12 shooters took on 100 targets for the Manx title. Thank you to Bobby Sadlers Agricultural Supplies for sponsoring the Manx championships this year once again.
Over the first 50 targets, we held the third round of the summer league.

After the second 50 was shot, we had all the targets added up and a shoot off was required for 1st between Arran Morrison-Wade and Stan Skinner. The shooters shot another round to decide the winner with Skinner taking this years title with a 21 to Arran’s 20.

We also required a shoot off for 4th place between Jake Keeling and Alan Wade with Keeling taking 4th after shooing a 24 to Wade’s 21.

22/9/24 English Skeet Manx Championship

Today we held the Annual English Skeet Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies.

After 4 rounds of close shooting, a shoot off was needed for High gun between James Simpson and Dave Corlett. Both shooters shot another round to decide the title with James shooting a 24 to Dave’s 23.

15/9/24 All Round Manx Championship

Today we held the All Round Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies. This is shot over 100 targets with a round of 25 from each of the following disciplines: English Skeet, Automatic ball trap (ABT), Down the Line (DTL) and Sporting.

Jake Keeling took the title on a 89. We needed a 3 way shoot off between Alan Kinrade, Jack Kneen and Arran Morrison-Wade who all tied on 82. Alan was first knocked out so we went to sudden death for Jack and Arran with Jack coming out on top to take second. Well shot to all taking part.

11/8/24 Sporting Manx Championship

Today we held the annual Sporting Manx Championship kindly sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies.

There was a total of 35 shooter. 22 shooters for the competition and 13 club members shooting targets only. After a technical course we had a new name on the trophy.

23/6/2024 Fitasc Manx Championship

Today we held the Manx championship Fitasc kindly sponsored by Sadler agriculture supplies. It was held over 75 target shoot, 3 layouts of 25 clays.


Winner was Nigel Moffatt on 66.
Then there had to be a shoot off to decide the 2nd 3rd and 4th place between
Martin Kneen, Jake Keeling and Rob Watterson, all on 62.
Layout 3 was pulled out of the hat tweaked and over 25 targets.
Jake shot 22 to finish 2nd overall
2nd Martin shot 19 to finish 3rd overall
3rd Rob shot 17 to finish 4th overall
