Olympic Trap Manx Championship

Today we held the Olympic trap Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers. Lovely sunny conditions meant for close competition with all shooters only separated by 6 targets. Alan Wade came out on top from Mark Riley with Arran Morrison-Wade in third.

English Sporting Manx Championship

Cracking day for the English Sporting Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers. 33 shooters took on a technical layout with only a few clays separating the top 4.

Junior shooter Joe Faragher claimed the 2026 title just pipping Alan Kinrade with Martin Kneen and Nigel Moffat rounding out the top spots.


Single Barrel DTL Manx Championship

Today we held the 4th championship of the season with the Single Barrel Down the Line Manx Championship. Thank you to Sadlers for sponsoring the championships again this year. It was close at the top with the top 3 separated by a target each.

UT + DT Manx Championships

First Championships of the year as we held the Manx Championships for Universal Trench followed by the Double Trap.

Thank you to Sadlers for there support again this year. Stan Skinner won the Universal Trench with Alan Wade only a few clays behind. Jake Keeling took the honours in the Double Trap with father and son Wade sharing second

All Round Manx Championship

15 shooters got soaked today as we held the final Manx Championship of the season. Thank you to Sadlers Agricultural Supplies for once again sponsoring the championships for this year. It was a class contest shot over 4 disciplines with the top 3 separated by a target each.

FITASC Manx Championship

Today we had 27 shooters take part in the FITASC Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies. It was a brilliant sunny day for it with 3 technical layouts. Thank you to everyone who set up the shoot as it is very hard to do. Well done to Alan Kinrade who shot high gun of the day on a 64 and Alan Brew in joint second on a 63. Both shooters shot targets only.

We had two shoot offs for the Championship with Jack Kneen claiming the title over Tony Tongue and Nigel Moffat pipping Martin Kneen to third in sudden death.

Today was a busy one at blue point as held the fourth round of the Sportrap summer league sponsored by Manx Vehicle Glass aswell as the Olympic Trap Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies which also had round 2 and 3 of the league sponsored by R Watterson Plumbing and Heating.
Round 2 of the Olympic trap also had the copy cat trophy up for grabs which was claimed by Rob Watterson.

After the second 50, we needed a shoot off to decide our 2025 OT champion between Alan Wade and Callum Craine. Both shooters came away with a 20 in the shoot off taking us to sudden death with Wade pipping Craine 2-1.

Today we had 17 shooters take part in the English Skeet Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies with 22 shooters taking part in the first 50 for the fourth round of the league sponsored by Penketh and Millar.

After the second 50 was shot, a shoot off was required to decide second place between Joe Faragher and Roman Sammer both on 92. Joe shot a 24 in the shoot off to take second from Roman who shot a 22. Racheal Bowen-Matthews held it together to take the title and the Ladies title to make it the double.
