Wind and rain up blue point today as we held the DTL Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies. Shooters took on 4 rounds over 2 layouts to battle out for the title. Well done to Jack Kneen for taking the title.
We also held the third round of the English Skeet summer league sponsored by Penketh Millar with Kevin Airey taking high gun.

Sportrap Manx Championship

Today we held the Sportrap Manx Championship sponsored by Sadler Agricultural Supplies. Rain and wind didn’t help the shooters take on 4 technical layouts to claim the Manx title.
After all the layouts were shot, a new layout was setup as we required a shoot off for the title between Jack Kneen and Liam Kirkpatrick. It was a close one with Liam pipping Jack by two clays to take the title.

Windy conditions at blue point today for the 9 shooters who dared take on the Happy Days Motors Club All Round. This was shot over 4 disciplines with 25 targets in each. Double Trap and Universal Trench Manx Championships

Sunny skies today as we held the Double Trap Manx Championship followed by the Universal Trench Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural supplies. Jake Keeling took home the brace claiming both Manx titles today. We had a shoot off for second in the Double trap between Ted Davis and Alan Wade with Alan pipping Ted with a 21 to Ted’s 20.

Cracking turnout of 43 shooters today as we held the third round of the English Sporting summer league as well the Davey Clague Memorial cup over 100 targets. Thank you to Jason Bulliment for sponsoring the league.
Thank you to the Clague family for sponsoring the cup in memory of Davey. It was a brilliant day for it with sunny and warm weather.

Well done to Martin Kneen and Liam Kirkpatrick for taking highgun in the league shoot and well done Martin again for winning the cup on a 88.

ABT (3) + Manx Championship

The first Manx championship of the season was held at blue point today in sunny but chilly conditions. 12 shooters took on 100 targets for the Manx title. Thank you to Bobby Sadlers Agricultural Supplies for sponsoring the Manx championships this year once again.
Over the first 50 targets, we held the third round of the summer league.

After the second 50 was shot, we had all the targets added up and a shoot off was required for 1st between Arran Morrison-Wade and Stan Skinner. The shooters shot another round to decide the winner with Skinner taking this years title with a 21 to Arran’s 20.

We also required a shoot off for 4th place between Jake Keeling and Alan Wade with Keeling taking 4th after shooing a 24 to Wade’s 21.
