Today we held the Fifth round of English Sporting summer league with 28 shooters taking part with 23 carrying on to take part in the Manx Petroleum cup over 100 targets. Thank you to today’s sponsors Jason Bulliment Construction and Manx Petroleum.

Olympic Trap Manx Championship +Sportrap (4)

Today was a busy one at blue point as held the fourth round of the Sportrap summer league sponsored by Manx Vehicle Glass aswell as the Olympic Trap Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies which also had round 2 and 3 of the league sponsored by R Watterson Plumbing and Heating.
Round 2 of the Olympic trap also had the copy cat trophy up for grabs which was claimed by Rob Watterson.

After the second 50, we needed a shoot off to decide our 2025 OT champion between Alan Wade and Callum Craine. Both shooters came away with a 20 in the shoot off taking us to sudden death with Wade pipping Craine 2-1.

Club All Round

Windy conditions at blue point today for the 9 shooters who dared take on the Happy Days Motors Club All Round. This was shot over 4 disciplines with 25 targets in each. Cracking turnout of 43 shooters today as we held the third round of the English Sporting summer league as well the Davey Clague Memorial cup over 100 targets. Thank you to Jason Bulliment for sponsoring the league.

Today we held the first round of the summer Sportrap league sponsored by Manx Vehicle Glass over 50 targets. Along side we had the Top Spec Fencing trophy over 100 targets. It was a cracking day with 4 very difficult layouts. 30 shooters shot the first 50 with 19 carrying on to do 100.

To kick off the new year we held the third round of the English Skeet winter league sponsored by Paul’s gun stocks followed by the Penketh Millar Handicap cup over 100 targets. It was very cold with some drizzle with 12 shooter taking on the first 50.

29/12/24 Christmas Shoot 🎄

Today we held the Club annual Christmas shoot, bring a prize win a prize. We had a brilliant turnout for the last shoot of the year with 39 shooters taking on 50 English sporting with a twist.

Congratulations to Alan Brew and Paul Mihailovits taking high gun on 46/50.
We had a joint first for the team event with Alan Wade, Nick Barham and Dan Collister, Brian Mylrea both on 78. We then had a lucky dip with the team winners, pulling out the first names to win the rest of the prizes.

Well done to all that took part and Thank you to everyone that helped set up and run the shoot as it wouldn’t be possible without you.

Today we held the annual Pheasant Flush to mark the end of the summer season. Thank you to Monarch Roofing for sponsoring the shoot. 24 shooters making 12 pairs shot in sunny conditions.
