Brilliant turn out for the fourth round of the sporting summer league. Thank you to all the helpers for setting up and making these shoots happen. Liam Kirkpatrick pipped Jake Keeling to take high gun
25 shooters stayed on after lunch to compete for the Manx Petroleum cup with the lead turning on its head with Keeling pipping Kirkpatrick to the win by one target
36 shooters turned up for last Sporting shoot of the season is perfect conditions. Thank you to Jason Bulliment construction for your sponsorship. Well done to Alan Wade taking the final high gun of the season with a 45. We also held the Side by Side Club Championship over 50 targets sponsored by Stan Skinner and Steven Craine which was won by Alan Kinrade on a 39 after beating Jack Kneen in a shoot off.

Cracking day today as we held a 50 target Pheasant Flush kindly sponsored by Monarch Roofing so bit thank you to them. Well done to Richie and Robin for taking the team event on a 68.
Busy weekend at blue point as we held the Sporting Grand Prix sponsored by Isabella’s in Laxey. We held 100 sporting on Saturday with 100 Sportrap taking place today.
Well done Jack Kneen taking overall high gun over the two days with a score of 165/200. Jack also won yesterday sporting with Martin Kneen taking Sportrap high gun today. Well shot to everyone and thank you to everyone who helped running a very busy weekend.
Windy conditions at blue point today for the 9 shooters who dared take on the Happy Days Motors Club All Round. This was shot over 4 disciplines with 25 targets in each. We had prizes on offer for the highest score in each discipline. Thank you to all the people that stayed to help button and mark.

We held the Sporting Grand Prix this weekend as 19 shooters competed on the Saturday which was 50 sportrap and 50 super sporting. Both days were sponsored by Neil Parsons and food by Isabella’s. Today we held the club all Round sponsored by Ted Davis, thanks Ted. It was over ,25 skeet, 25 single barrel DTL, 25 sporting. We should have had 25 balltrap as well,but on the start of the last squad the trap broke so the winner was decided on the other 3 disciplines.
