19 shooters took on the penultimate round of the Sportrap summer league sponsored by Manx Vehicle Glass. We had two layouts on with some testing targets in sunny conditions.

Busy weekend at blue point as we held the Sporting Grand Prix sponsored by Isabella’s in Laxey. We held 100 sporting on Saturday with 100 Sportrap taking place today.
Well done Jack Kneen taking overall high gun over the two days with a score of 165/200. Jack also won yesterday sporting with Martin Kneen taking Sportrap high gun today. Well shot to everyone and thank you to everyone who helped running a very busy weekend.
15 shooters got soaked today as we held the final Manx Championship of the season. Thank you to Sadlers Agricultural Supplies for once again sponsoring the championships for this year. It was a class contest shot over 4 disciplines with the top 3 separated by a target each.

Very windy conditions at blue point today as we held the Fifth round of the English Skeet summer league sponsored by Penketh Millar. We also had the fourth and fifth round of the Olympic Trap league sponsored by R Watterson plumbing. Well done to Paul Mihailovits taking high gun in the skeet, Callum Craine for winning the fourth round of the OT and Alan Wade claiming the Adam Slater high gun trophy.

Today we had 27 shooters take part in the FITASC Manx Championship sponsored by Sadlers Agricultural Supplies. It was a brilliant sunny day for it with 3 technical layouts. Thank you to everyone who set up the shoot as it is very hard to do. Well done to Alan Kinrade who shot high gun of the day on a 64 and Alan Brew in joint second on a 63. Both shooters shot targets only.
We had two shoot offs for the Championship with Jack Kneen claiming the title over Tony Tongue and Nigel Moffat pipping Martin Kneen to third in sudden death.

Today we held the Fifth round of English Sporting summer league with 28 shooters taking part with 23 carrying on to take part in the Manx Petroleum cup over 100 targets. Round 2 of the Olympic trap also had the copy cat trophy up for grabs which was claimed by Rob Watterson.

Results for round 2 of the OT

After the second 50, we needed a shoot off to decide our 2025 OT champion between Alan Wade and Callum Craine. Both shooters came away with a 20 in the shoot off taking us to sudden death with Wade pipping Craine 2-1.

After the second 50 was shot, a shoot off was required to decide second place between Joe Faragher and Roman Sammer both on 92. Joe shot a 24 in the shoot off to take second from Roman who shot a 22. Racheal Bowen-Matthews held it together to take the title and the Ladies title to make it the double.
